Bulletin — FHA Reform Roars Through The House

The House of Representatives has passed H.R. 5072, the FHA Reform Act of 2010.

The final vote for the bill was 406-4.

Next, the legislation will be sent to the Senate for consideration.

According to sponsor Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), the legislation had the support of such organizations as the National Urban League, the National Council of La Raza, the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the National Association of Realtors and the National Association of Home Builders.
